Eyelet change for the better!
Changes to this boot from previous versions are an improvement. I had a problem with the laces popping off the quick ties at times. The change from steel toe to composite safety toe lighted the boot and makes it non-metallic (airport friendly). I added a flat gel insert to compensate for the 1/2 size larger fit (highly recommended). 1 day break in. These boots are more comfortable than sneakers. The uppers will last indefinitely, but the soles will come apart within 2 years, allowing water to seep in on rainy days – time for a new pair. In all, the changes to the boot, except for the logo cut out (free advertisement) were an improvement. This boot is the best I have owned.

Bad changes –
Previously owned the same model but were titanium vs composite toe and loved them so I bought them again. I was disappointed the eyelets are plastic. One popped out in two weeks and they no longer have the speed laces the previous model had at the top to make taking them off easier. Overall it is still a very comfortable shoe for a safety toe.

I work a 12 hr shift on a concrete floor, had these boots for about a month and I absolutely love them. Well worth the money!

I have always had a hard time finding shoes that fit, but then at 6’10” and 300lbs, well!! It was a real pleasure to order from Zappos and an even greater delight in the comfort of the Pro Titan. Personally I think that the boot is a good fit size wise and its total fit including the width and arch support. I also think that the boot looks good. I won’t hesitate in ordering this boot again.

Extremely Comfortable –
These are the most comfortable boots I have ever worn! I have had Timberland Pro boots before, but nowhere near as comfy as these. I have an odd shaped foot and they are perfectly wide and have great arch support. It feels like I’m walking around barefoot on very soft carpet.

The hype is true –
After reading a number of reviews, I decided to purchase these boots. I was pleasantly surprised to find that all of the reports of “no break-in time” were completely accurate. This is easily the most comfortable work boot I’ve ever owned.

Excellent quality throughout. I can wear these boots all day and have no issues. Keep my feet dry even when the boots are very very wet. Also provide very good ankle support. If you combine this quality boot with the excellent service provided by Zappos, they are an unbeatable combination. I would definitely buy this boot again and when I do, it will be from Zappos. Wow! Zappos is great! I ordered a pair of Timberland PRO work boots with the composite toe (excellent work boots) and thought it would take maybe five days to get them since the day I ordered the boots was on Wednesday I think. My boots were on the door step the next day! I find the Timberland Pro boots to be lightweight and comfortable. My work takes me into several environments. I work on military vehicles and stand and kneel a lot, I also have to climb into and around the vehicles and these work boots take the punishment and never fail. I currently have a pair that are about three years old and they are my “go to” boots when my newer boots get too wet to wear. The boots are also cool to wear. The boots have a good bit of air flow capabilities built in. I notice this when I ride my motorcycle home after work. As I ride I can feel my feet cooling off in the wind. This is not so with other boots I have worn. I have no problems wearing these boots as everyday after work boots either as they are decent looking and very comfortable all around.

Timberland carried the boot on their site but for much more, plus I had to search their site much more extensively than yours to find it. Your shipment was very prompt, as I needed the boot for a birthday gift. My husband says, “Thank you!”

The boots are top notch and exactly as advertised. A very good value. They are worn daily in a heavy construction capacity and have been holding up very well. Zappos is the reason that I bought the boots. I wear 13 wide and find it very difficult to find anything in my size. Zappos has been a one of those companies that you will rely on day after day. Like asking for a Kleenex instead of a facial tissue or “Googling” instead of using a “Search Engine”. Zappos is becoming one of those companies. Thank you Zappos!

After all the rave reviews on this site, and after paying a huge amount, I was surprised to see the poor/flimsy construction of these shoes when I opened the box. There are much better quality shoes available for the extravagant price charged for these shoes. I would consider these a reasonable deal. Take a look at the reviews on Timberland’s own site, every reviewer comments on the poor durability of these shoes. For the price, I expect a lot more.

This boot is the best. Break in time was less than a day. I am 300 lbs and walk all day and so far these boots are holding up and show no sign of wearing out. I love them.

After 4 years at my current job and 4 different pairs of uncomfortable to completely unwearable Red Wing boots (brand supplied by my employer), I finally had to break down and get something else – even if I had to pay for them myself. I tried these and have had no regrets – they are totally worth the price. Comfy, reasonably light weight, really nice fit and are holding up really well.

I read other reviews and I’m glad I bought these Timberland PRO Titan 6″ Composite Toe shoes. Once I put them on, they felt like I had them forever. They are light and comfortable. I have no issues with the shoe laces. Once they are tied they say that way.

I bought these boots to replace a 20 year old pair of Red Wings. I didn’t expect them to be equal, but I am very pleasantly surprised. They are the most comfortable boot I have had. I bought them to hike some backcountry and the uppers were supportive and protective. The soles are tough but lack the traction of a hiking boot; they are work boots after all. They got very dirty on the first weekend. I hosed them off, saddle soaped, and now wear them with jeans most places I go. I think they look good. Can’t recommend them any more highly!

I’m on my feet all day. I’m a diesel mechanic by day and a professional auto painter by night. I’ve been a mechanic over 25 years. After years of buying other brands, I bought a pair of Timberland Pro boots and now its the only ones I buy. I’ve bought 3 pairs the past 6 years. They last me about 2 years before the sole wears out.
I have stress fractures in both my feet, that I acquired from the military. These boots provide good support and are the only ones that relieve the pain I feel with other brands.
I bought a pair for my father-in-law for his birthday and he says they are the best boots he has ever had. He is a wrecker driver and on his feet all day also.
The only thing that could improve them is making them waterproof. Light rain no problem but walking in puddles they soak through. Other then the soles breaking the edges from being worn, they hold up very well.
They fit well as I wear a 9.5 walking shoe and the same with these boots.

I had worn out an older version of this boot and liked them so much I bought another pair. After about a year of use the boot-lace eyelets started breaking. The eyeltes are noew made of plastic and about half of them on each boot are gone. I had to pay to install steel hooks on the top eyelets to allow me to keep using these boots. I am disappointed that Timberland cheapened these up so much. Never again.

Great boots have been wearing this same pair for years. Don’t like the waterproof ones as they make my feet sweat. Most comfortable pair of boots you will ever own. Only last about 6 months before the soles start to come apart.
