Daniel –
Tight in toe bed width wise. Definitely smaller than the regular timberlands.
Bob –
This boot is similar to some older Timberlands I have. It is the same stated size (9M) but it seems narrower. After several minutes of wearing, it was very uncomfortable. There is also a ridge along the edge of the toe box that pressed down on the top of my foot. The older ones have a ridge too but it does not protrude nearly as much.
Mark –
Fit perfect high quality reasonably priced.
Meme –
You should go up half a size, it will be more comfortable.
Will –
This boot is great. It’s a bit stiff when you put it on. Slightly narrow even, but it’s given in quite a bit on my first day of wearing them. I’m gonna be working in a factory for days on end, so these Timberland Pro’s will be tested. I gotta say I’m really liking these Sawhorses. Now for more color-ways.
Mahasin –
These are surprisingly light weight and the width is perfect. Thanks
Batswifey –
The support in the shoes take a bit of getting used to, but they are very comfortable overall. I am happy with my decision to choose these boots!
Hailey –
they’re very comfortable and fit great! looks just like the picture.
Blanca –
They look and feel great. Lighter than my original composite toe boots.
Zachary –
Fit was a little tight but the pro series has a no break-in period which is really great. They feel great on your feet out of the box!

After reading some of the reviews I ordered an 8 1/2, usually I’m an 8 in US shoes & boots, and they fit nicely. The steel toe isn’t too constricting but aside from that they’re comfortable to wear though maybe not for hours without end, until you get used to it, I only wear them for a few hours. They’re also pretty warm for cold weather, these are the first Tims I’ve ever owned and I’m pretty happy with them.

Here’s the basics – I normally wear a 7 1/2, I ordered an 8 (which is a half size bigger) because someone on an earlier review suggested that for the narrow toe box. That is veeeery good advice I would not suggest getting your normal size if you have normal width feet. If you have wide feet, you will not like these. If you have narrow feet, you might get away with your regular size.
These are narrow. They are *not* true to size. You can wear regular socks with them and your foot will have room if you sized up a half size, but if you wear thick socks at all (for warmth, comfort while breaking in, etc), your toes will be feeling a little squished and in need of a stretch after a 10 hour work day. Most of the uncomfortable-ness comes from needing to break in the heel of the shoes, of course, but the toe box is important to mention especially if you’re on your feet all day, you may not like these. If you’re sitting or driving a lot like I am, they’re completely fine, I actually like them.
As far as comfort, they’re not stand all day in shoes. At all. There’s not a ton of padding at the foot and (not that I’ve broken them in yet, but) they’re pretty stiff – great for ankle support, not great for comfy walking. Although I will say that black padding they have at the top of the shoe is fantastic for the material not cutting into your leg like some higher rise boots do.
This shoe is made of recycled materials, if that is of interest to you. Idk, I kinda like the environment myself so it’s cool to me.
As far as weight of the shoe, I’ve definitely worn heavier shoes, these are really very light for boots which is great, if they’re too heavy I will trip over them and I’m not tripping from the weight of the shoe in these so – 10/10 there.
Fun perk I learned about since wearing them in the winter, they’re pretty water tight. Go walk around in some snow, accidentally step in a (shallow) puddle, your toes will not be wet. As a caveat these are not rain boots, I assume at some point they will actually let water in if water resistant spray is not used, I just haven’t hit that point yet.
Anyway, I hope this is enough information – I’m really trying to be helpful for any future buyers with this review. Best of luck out there!

I have never wore steal toed shoes before but now since my work is requiring it I fond myself here shopping for some. When I first tried these boots on they where very tight and uncomfortable so I desided yo wear them around the house on my days off to break them in. Now that they are somewhat broken in and after a first night at work wearing these I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THEM and HIGHLEY RECOMMEND a pair of these. Zappos you litterly saved my feet. I am very pleased with these shoes ? Thank you!!
Eisha –
If u have wide foot get wide!! I ordered 10.5 women I should’ve got a 10 wide. The wide gives you room! Cause my boots are a little too big but they give me plenty of room. So when I order next year I’ll get 10 women WIDE. But great work books! I love them. Make sure to get the cushion as well.

I liked the style but working 12.5 hours in them was impossible had to switch to shoes in 4 hours. My feet were killing me.
D’Jae –
So I am a lover of this brand. I started with my original size shoe but it was so snug on my foot and I could not walk in it; so I returned them and got a half size bigger. The shoe does give me height (I’m only 4’11) and its a heavy boot. However; once I switched out my insoles they became more comfortable to move around it.

Fit good, look good just wear them in

The awsomest most perfect boots Ive ever had, they make me want to get a job or build a skyscraper of pour some concrete or ask your girl out !

Fit and sizing was great, I look great, my feet feel protected. FOR THE LOVE OF GOD DO NOT DO WHAT I DID AND ACTUALLY BREAK THESE IN PROPERLY I WRECKED MY LEG MUSCLES
Brittany –
The fit of these boots are great and I also love that my size that I got was correct and fit my foot perfectly and that they also don’t feel like you’re carrying around 10 ft weights on your foot. They are not hard to walk in and that is a plus, if you’re getting these through your job like I’m doing because you have to have Safety Shoes I definitely recommend these or either the Timberland PRO alloy toe those those are great if you prefer sneakers but those were the first ones I had ever bought and I got them in 2020 and they still look great today just like a brand new shoe and I work in a warehouse about six out of the seven days a week and I do 6 hours shifts and sometimes I pull triple shifts and my shoes still look great that just shows how great the Timberland brand is of course the boots that I’m reviewing right now did get a few scuffs on them but I will get the cleaner stuff and clean them up I’m actually about to order another pair. So really it all depends do you like boots or sneakers because the two shoes right here are the best

I sized up half a size from my normal size women’s 7 to an 7.5. They were still tight and narrow. I returned and ordered these in a wider width (7W) and they fit a little better. I have to wear these for work at an Amazon warehouse 10 hours a day, 4 days a week. They have a hard toe cap and are considered safety shoes. Not super comfortable because of that. Hopefully some new insoles will help.

Hurts like nothing I’ve ever experienced. I put in thick memory foam insoles yet I’m unable to walk or even sleep after my 12 hour shift. My feet are pulsing with pain all day. I went half a size up and went with the wide width but none of that helped. I’ve been wearing them for a year. I’ve never experienced such pain before but Amazon requires steel toe shoes so I gotta bear with it.

It hurt my ankle when walking.
Kate –
I don’t have “wide” feet but I definitely wish I ordered these in wide..

Boot split on the bottom of the sole within 5 months of regular use.
